Position: Consultant/Staff Accountant - Government Contracts Client

Responsibilities

• Specialized accounting and transaction processing services in Billing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Payroll
• DCAA audit assistance and preparation
• Direct and indirect cost rate structure calculation and assistance
• Assist in accounting systems implementation and enhancements (including Deltek GCS Premier and Costpoint)
• Pricing assistance and support for cost proposals
• Interim Controller, CFO and  contract administration services

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with FAR, CAS or other government contract experience required
• Experience with Deltek GCS Premier or Costpoint preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Leadership potential and work well in a team environment
• Strong problem solving/analytical skills
• Must be self-motivated

Education & Experience Requirements

• US citizenship required
• BS/BA degree in Accounting required.
• Advanced degree or CPA strongly preferred
• 3-5 years professional experience
