Position:  Consultant/Executive Management - Government Contracts Client

Consulting Focus

• DCAA and GSA Schedule audits
• GSA Schedule consultation
• Direct and indirect cost rate structure design and analysis
• Accounting system selection, implementation and enhancement
• Preparation and negotiation of equitable adjustment and termination claims
• Strategic pricing assistance, analysis of Request For Proposals (RFP’s), and preparation of cost proposals.
• Interpretation of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Disclosure Statement consultation
• Policy, procedure and internal control compliance
• Mergers and acquisitions/due diligence

Responsibilities

• DCAA and GSA audit liaison, support and issue resolution
• Interim CFO, Controller, Finance Director services
• Systems and internal control assessments
• Implement, design and enhance accounting systems for compliance
• Provide direct and indirect cost rate structure design and analysis
• Prepare and negotiate equitable adjustment and termination claims
• Provide strategic pricing assistance, analyze Request For Proposals (RFP’s), and prepare cost proposals
• Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Disclosure Statement preparation, review and revision
• Prepare and review Incurred Cost Submission
• Small Business Administration Rules (SBAR), 8(a) and SDB program advisory services
• Review and develop policies and procedures related to accounting, contracts and pricing
• Manage and mentor project staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with FAR, CAS or other government contract experience required
• Experience with Deltek GCS Premier or Costpoint preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong and demonstrated leadership abilities
• Strong problem solving/analytical skills
• Must be self-motivated
  
  

Education & Experience Requirements

• US citizenship required
• BS/BA degree in Accounting required
• Advanced degree or CPA strongly preferred
• 7 - 10 years professional experience
