Beverly is based in Virginia Beach and has over 15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience and extensive knowledge of the government contracting industry. Beverly served as a Contracts Specialist with the Department of Defense and has private sector experience as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Contracts for government contractors in a variety of industries.  She also served as a Partner in the Government Contractor Services Group for Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP, a regional based CPA and consulting firm.

Beverly specializes in reviewing and implementing compliant job cost accounting systems in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 31 and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) Contract Audit Manual (CAM), DCAA audit preparation and support, cost and pricing strategy and development, acting as interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strategic business planning and processes, indirect rate strategy and development, incurred cost submissions, GSA contract and proposal support, government contract compliance, and contract and subcontract administration.

Beverly focuses her practice in providing consulting, financial and strategic development services to government contractors in such areas as accounting system implementation, restructuring and optimization including Deltek GCS Premier® and Costpoint®, QuickBooks, and Peachtree, strategic assessment and business process reviews, interim Controller and CFO, DCAA audit preparation and support, subcontract administration, indirect rate development, incurred cost proposal assistance, government contract compliance matters, cost and price proposal strategy and development, GSA contract and proposal support, FAR and DFARS compliance and interpretation, and many other financial services.

Beverly has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She is certified by the National Contracts Management Association as a Fellow, a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) and a Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM).

Beverly is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is currently a member of the National Contracts Management is also a member of the Tidewater Association of Service Contractors where she serves as the Vice-President. She is a frequent lecturer on topics of interest to government contractors.
