Amelia is based in Atlanta and has over 10 years of progressive
experience in Accounting, Finance, and Business Operations. Amelia most
recently served as Director of Finance and Operations for a government
contractor with clients such as Department of Defense, Department of
Homeland Security, United States Department of Agriculture, and many
others. She also served as a Business Consultant working with various
industries including medical, construction, retail, not-for-profit, and
professional services.
Amelia specializes in contract and subcontract administration, GSA
schedule administration, cost and pricing strategy and development, and
indirect rate strategy and development. She has developed and documented
internal controls and policies and procedures in the areas of
accounting and human resources. She has also served as GSA Schedule
Administrator, supported 8a program compliance, DCAA audit preparation,
and developed job cost accounting systems in accordance with Federal
Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 31 compliance.
Amelia has a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in
New Albany, Indiana. She is currently a member of the National Defense
Industrial Association, National Contract Management Association,
Lawrenceville Tourism and Trade Association, and the Gwinnett County
Chamber of Commerce. She is also a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
